Hello everyone, I'm OG and today I'm going to talk about another young
Israeli talent, this time, it's a very gifted and unique dude, he's one of the
familiar faces here in Israeli Wrestling, he's well known here in our country,
he's wrestling here in the IPWA since his High School days, he's 20 years old,
his name is Hadar Horovitz!
In the recent show in Berale, Hadar participated in two matches, the 1st
was a tag team contest when he teamed up with Guy Landau Against the Leopards,
he was the main attraction of this match and he showed a lot of great
techniques, and later that night he was an entrant in the N1C Rumble, in the
Rumble he eliminated more than most of the people and he managed to get into the final
four of the match, eventually the winner was Yuval Goldshmit, but Hadar brought
a wonderful showing and showed to all of us why he's truly one of the most
gifted talents in the wrestling scene here in Israel. But, Hadar came a long
way so far, he even flew to Germany to train at the wXw Academy with WALTER, he
represented Israel and the IWL proudly along with fellow IWL wrestler Ori Gold.
Few days ago I got the opportunity to talk with Hadar and to ask him some
questions about his wrestling life, his tour to Germany, and more! So allow me
to introduce to you, Hadar Horovitz!
Before we start, Quick shoutout to my buddies at EGO TOTAL for their recent interview with Bill Goldberg! Check it out in the link!

1st question: How did your story with Pro Wrestling started?
Answer: The truth that compared to the "hardcore" group of
fans I belonged to, I discovered the wrestling world at a late stage, at the
age of ten, the first memory that I had is the segment where Triple H breaking
into the house of Orton building for their battle on WrestleMania 25. It started
when my friend brought the video game "Smackdown Vs. Raw 2007" To my
home and we played it and the concept caught me from the first second and I
really remember how I had to buy that stupid game that day, because there's no
way I'm going back to play with something that's not a long time after. I found
out it was in something real that's really on TV and these people are totally
real, which only got me into crease and obsession. And that's basically how my
story started.
2nd question: few weeks ago you went to Germany to train at
the wXw academy, how was it like to be there? How was the experience?
Answer: Training at the WXW Academy was one of the best experiences of
my life, the people there, the place and the crazy passion all the people who
came across the continent have in common it's something special, it's surrounds
you with your own love for business and other people's love for the business at
the same time. The knowledge and experience I have accumulated there are significant
but it's only a small piece near the overall experience of this month.
3rd question: what are your inspirations in the ring? Is there
anyone specific or anything that inspires you?
Answer: Hard question, I think every wrestler at least in the first
stages is wrestling like his favorite wrestlers, then begins a difficult
process of finding out who you are among these people and how you wrestle and
not how you love a wrestler, so that inspiration is still a very big umbrella
of the effects and different depth types for how much each wrestler you The man
looks at him and learns it affects you. If I need to narrow it down to one
question of what is the source of inspiration I have no names to say, but more
simple battles, not the great-not-to-be-of-girlfriends of the big companies but
on the contrary, how two wrestlers tell a simple story in a few minutes, I am
always more attracted to the origins of word wrestlers in terms of their
expressions and the way they wrestle to have Dr. Stimulates antagonism no
matter if he watches it as a wrestling fan, a person who does not understand
anything and encounters it for the first time in his life, things that
wrestlers do that would attract the eyes of every person and to the same
admirer who knows more or less what is happening and how to react.
4th question: is there any specific wrestler you take as a
role model?
Answer: I was very trying not to, I used to be in this bug if someone
missed, Kevin Owens has always been perceived as a role model for me. Not only
because of how he is as a wrestler, but the story of his life, the fact that he
learned English only from watching wrestling as a child (something I've always
testified about myself, and I didn't have a clue and never thought that there
would be a person like me and another far away), the way he looked, and in
general, the fact that understands all the shiny characters and suicide wrestlers,
They have this character that is simply him, you never doubt when you hear him
talking, wrestling, trash taking in the arena, what comes out of his mouth
comes from deep down, and he doesn't have to try to find a half-full and
totally imagination to be successful and bigger than life as a wrestler should
be.
5th question: during the recent event at Berale, you
participated in two matches, one is a tag team contest and the other was a
Battle Royal to determent the Number One Contender vs. the IPWA Champion, Matt
Sydal, you came so close to win the battle royal and you did a wonderful job,
eliminated most of the competitors and stayed until the final four, have you
felt any disappointment or something like this after you failed to win the
battle royal?
Answer: no, I never feel a miss feeling, do I not have any thoughts in
retrospect that would be cool if I'd done it and it goes on to it and that then
let it evolve into my mind and fill myself with ideas, it is yes, but I like it
it's my fuel. That's how I make sure I keep getting better every time to
realize these ideas. I don't think I've ever thought I'd deserve anything more
than I I wrestle in Israel from a very small age and always my attitude was to
shut up and let the decision makers decide for themselves, and if I see that
I'm good enough I won't have to talk about it or feel striped about, and speaking
of the Battle Royal, it is clear that there is a great sense of chaos that I
did not succeed until the end and continued to deal with Matt Sydal, but I
couldn't be happier for Yuval, he deserved it.
Last question, now that we look towards the future, you have any goals
you want to achieve in the wrestling business? Any milestones you would love to
reach? Any ambitions?
Answer: Ambitions are always a complicated word for me, obviously the desires
are as if anyone wants to succeed in this business, it's getting as far away as
there is, but on the other hand, I also can't as a 20-year-old boy from Tel
Aviv to work with only one goal in mind and see that the WWE contract that's at
the end of the road, it doesn't work that way. My actual ambition is to just
keep getting to more and more distant places in the world and show them what
I'm worth, what the Israeli scene is worth, and what I can do given the right
stage, Obviously the big ambition hovers over the head is to make a living from
this business, see where life will take me.
Along with the Q&A I asked a fan who were at the Berale event about
what he thinks about Hadar, here's what he had to say
"Hadar is a great talent, he has lot of potential and he's working
his craft beautifully, he's wonderful technician who have great in ring
awareness, I believe that we will see him on bigger platforms and to get to
higher levels.”
Now if you ask me personally about what I think about Hadar, I have to
say he's a great person, good kid who looks to learn more and more about this
business and about himself, you can see in his eyes that he's serious about this
business and that he loves this sport. He is a great professional.
