AWO Glory Preview, Interview with Oscar

Hi everyone, I'm OG and today, I'm going to give you a little closer look of a wrestling organization here in Israel, the name is AWO. The owner of the company is "The Arabian Horse" Mahran Abdul Hai, he's also one of the most recognized faces of the company, throughout the years, former WWE Superstars such as Chris Masters and Carlito came to wrestle in the company at the past, at the 29th of this month they going to produce their upcoming event "Glory" in Netanya, make sure you don't miss the action!

Today I had the honor to sit down for an interview with one of the familiar faces of the company, his name is Oscar Vice, he's a young up and coming wrestler in the AWO and he was at the AWO Academy two years ago with his good friend Tye Clodd. Oscar will share with us about what we are going to expect and see in the upcoming event.

I asked Oscar few questions about the organization and about his personal career. So let's begin the interview!

1st question: as an important part of the company's roster, can you share with me more about your company? What can I expect from it as a "new fan" of it?
Answer: AWO is an Israeli wrestling organization in Netanya that has been running on a monthly basis, but the monthly performances have recently stopped for greater performances. The organization has several branches in several countries, so we get to bring wrestlers from aboard that in our opinion their having a long way and their potential can be big and promising.

2nd Question: How did your relationship with the AWO started?
Answer:
I don't know if it's known or not, but me and Tyler (Tye Clodd) are really good friends, while we were little kids we would have seen together wrestling and fighting, And at the beginning of 2017, we decided to take the hobby to a more professional place and we joined the AWO Academy, somewhere along the way me and Tyler we split up, and he left the AWO, while I stayed-but my delight, in the upcoming show Tyler appears, I truly hope that I will meet him and wrestle him again! If there are any fans of Tyler in the audience, please come and support him on the 29th

3rd question: 29th of this month, we going to see the upcoming event of AWO, the event "Glory" in Netanya, what shall we expect from the event?
On the 29th, the show ran "Glory", which would participate in Israeli wrestlers – for example the current AWO champion, The Blondevil, who had been a wrestler in Israel over a decade or Hellboy a former IPWA-champion, who has been participating in the Israeli scene for a long time. Beyond the veterans of the country, there are a few young and Brewster faces like Gal Barkai who's going to face Jake Mayhem, and of course two of the best wrestlers from the recent event of IPWA's berale shows, Yuval Goldshmit and Hadar Horovitz will be there too. along with the Israeli talent, there's also a good amount of wrestlers from Europe that comes to Israel to wrestle in our country, for example the AWO Ukraine Women's champion Amaranta Del Mar who's going to defend her title against Mefisto and hardcore star Ron Corvus who's going to wrestle in the event as well. You don't want to miss the action, believe me.

4th question: now this is a personal one, during the last event of the IPWA here in Israel, you came to the ring with a guitar and wanted to perform a concert in the middle of the ring, will it be a permeant thing?
Answer: Actually, I've heard a lot of people chanting "Elias", and I knew it was similar so I tried to keep a little distance in the behavior or presentation of the content but even when I saw it back it would seem too similar, because that's why I'm still working on my character and trying to organize it, I think I'm going to stay on musical field because it's something I really like to do It would be different from what was in Berale.

Last question: In the upcoming show, there are a number of fighters who's coming from Europe, does it symbolize some sort of a cooperation between the AWO and European wrestling organizations? You have the blondevil who's been a wrestler in Europe and even won a tag title belt there.
Answer: Yes, we have co-operation with many European wrestling organizations, such as DPW, NSW, and there is much more. AWO attempts to get to as many foreign wrestlers as you can to bring to the Israeli audience a sight of style they don't know about and the wrestlers who may have had no ability to see in the past, and will really be glad they have seen in the future!

So there you have it, a little preview before GLORY, make sure you don’t miss it, that show will be a phenomenon. And it'll happen next week!

Hadar Horovitz, the Heart&Soul Of Israeli Wrestling

Hello everyone, I'm OG and today I'm going to talk about another young Israeli talent, this time, it's a very gifted and unique dude, he's one of the familiar faces here in Israeli Wrestling, he's well known here in our country, he's wrestling here in the IPWA since his High School days, he's 20 years old, his name is Hadar Horovitz!

In the recent show in Berale, Hadar participated in two matches, the 1st was a tag team contest when he teamed up with Guy Landau Against the Leopards, he was the main attraction of this match and he showed a lot of great techniques, and later that night he was an entrant in the N1C Rumble, in the Rumble he eliminated more than most of the people and he managed to get into the final four of the match, eventually the winner was Yuval Goldshmit, but Hadar brought a wonderful showing and showed to all of us why he's truly one of the most gifted talents in the wrestling scene here in Israel. But, Hadar came a long way so far, he even flew to Germany to train at the wXw Academy with WALTER, he represented Israel and the IWL proudly along with fellow IWL wrestler Ori Gold. Few days ago I got the opportunity to talk with Hadar and to ask him some questions about his wrestling life, his tour to Germany, and more! So allow me to introduce to you, Hadar Horovitz!

Before we start, Quick shoutout to my buddies at EGO TOTAL for their recent interview with Bill Goldberg! Check it out in the link!

1st question: How did your story with Pro Wrestling started?
Answer: The truth that compared to the "hardcore" group of fans I belonged to, I discovered the wrestling world at a late stage, at the age of ten, the first memory that I had is the segment where Triple H breaking into the house of Orton building for their battle on WrestleMania 25. It started when my friend brought the video game "Smackdown Vs. Raw 2007" To my home and we played it and the concept caught me from the first second and I really remember how I had to buy that stupid game that day, because there's no way I'm going back to play with something that's not a long time after. I found out it was in something real that's really on TV and these people are totally real, which only got me into crease and obsession. And that's basically how my story started.

2nd question: few weeks ago you went to Germany to train at the wXw academy, how was it like to be there? How was the experience?
Answer: Training at the WXW Academy was one of the best experiences of my life, the people there, the place and the crazy passion all the people who came across the continent have in common it's something special, it's surrounds you with your own love for business and other people's love for the business at the same time. The knowledge and experience I have accumulated there are significant but it's only a small piece near the overall experience of this month.

3rd question: what are your inspirations in the ring? Is there anyone specific or anything that inspires you?
Answer: Hard question, I think every wrestler at least in the first stages is wrestling like his favorite wrestlers, then begins a difficult process of finding out who you are among these people and how you wrestle and not how you love a wrestler, so that inspiration is still a very big umbrella of the effects and different depth types for how much each wrestler you The man looks at him and learns it affects you. If I need to narrow it down to one question of what is the source of inspiration I have no names to say, but more simple battles, not the great-not-to-be-of-girlfriends of the big companies but on the contrary, how two wrestlers tell a simple story in a few minutes, I am always more attracted to the origins of word wrestlers in terms of their expressions and the way they wrestle to have Dr. Stimulates antagonism no matter if he watches it as a wrestling fan, a person who does not understand anything and encounters it for the first time in his life, things that wrestlers do that would attract the eyes of every person and to the same admirer who knows more or less what is happening and how to react.

4th question: is there any specific wrestler you take as a role model?
Answer: I was very trying not to, I used to be in this bug if someone missed, Kevin Owens has always been perceived as a role model for me. Not only because of how he is as a wrestler, but the story of his life, the fact that he learned English only from watching wrestling as a child (something I've always testified about myself, and I didn't have a clue and never thought that there would be a person like me and another far away), the way he looked, and in general, the fact that understands all the shiny characters and suicide wrestlers, They have this character that is simply him, you never doubt when you hear him talking, wrestling, trash taking in the arena, what comes out of his mouth comes from deep down, and he doesn't have to try to find a half-full and totally imagination to be successful and bigger than life as a wrestler should be.

5th question: during the recent event at Berale, you participated in two matches, one is a tag team contest and the other was a Battle Royal to determent the Number One Contender vs. the IPWA Champion, Matt Sydal, you came so close to win the battle royal and you did a wonderful job, eliminated most of the competitors and stayed until the final four, have you felt any disappointment or something like this after you failed to win the battle royal?
Answer: no, I never feel a miss feeling, do I not have any thoughts in retrospect that would be cool if I'd done it and it goes on to it and that then let it evolve into my mind and fill myself with ideas, it is yes, but I like it it's my fuel. That's how I make sure I keep getting better every time to realize these ideas. I don't think I've ever thought I'd deserve anything more than I I wrestle in Israel from a very small age and always my attitude was to shut up and let the decision makers decide for themselves, and if I see that I'm good enough I won't have to talk about it or feel striped about, and speaking of the Battle Royal, it is clear that there is a great sense of chaos that I did not succeed until the end and continued to deal with Matt Sydal, but I couldn't be happier for Yuval, he deserved it.

Last question, now that we look towards the future, you have any goals you want to achieve in the wrestling business? Any milestones you would love to reach? Any ambitions?
Answer: Ambitions are always a complicated word for me, obviously the desires are as if anyone wants to succeed in this business, it's getting as far away as there is, but on the other hand, I also can't as a 20-year-old boy from Tel Aviv to work with only one goal in mind and see that the WWE contract that's at the end of the road, it doesn't work that way. My actual ambition is to just keep getting to more and more distant places in the world and show them what I'm worth, what the Israeli scene is worth, and what I can do given the right stage, Obviously the big ambition hovers over the head is to make a living from this business, see where life will take me.

Along with the Q&A I asked a fan who were at the Berale event about what he thinks about Hadar, here's what he had to say
"Hadar is a great talent, he has lot of potential and he's working his craft beautifully, he's wonderful technician who have great in ring awareness, I believe that we will see him on bigger platforms and to get to higher levels.”

Now if you ask me personally about what I think about Hadar, I have to say he's a great person, good kid who looks to learn more and more about this business and about himself, you can see in his eyes that he's serious about this business and that he loves this sport. He is a great professional.

Thanks for reading! And I highly suggest you to check Hadar's highlights, I can assure you that you will enjoy.
