Tyler Clodd - Everyone needs a second thought

Hey everyone, I'm OG and today I'm going to be talking about a young local talent from my country (Israel) and his name is Tyler Mann.

Tyler Mann wrestling for the IWL (Israeli Wrestling League) , and he's a young prospect who looks to be wrestling's next upcoming star, he's a great dude with a motivating attitude, I suggest you to check him out guys, also he's a very friendly human, it's really fun catching up with him.

Tyler is an upcoming talent here in our country's wrestling scene, a very energized and a skilled dude, he began his wrestling career a year ago, as he joined an organization called AWO, he left the AWO few months ago, and after he left he joined the IWL league, Tyler says that the IWL is his new home, he believes he found there his new home. And he looks to make a name for himself in the league.

Few days ago I got the chance to talk with Tyler and I asked him few questions about his career's progress, his gimmick and his future goals, here are the answers.

1st Question : who inspired you to begin with wrestling?

Answer : " Okay, my story with wrestling is a bit funny, the first time I saw wrestling I recorded an episode of WWE on TV, because I heard it's a thing to watch, I skipped to a match between Sheamus and Wade Barrett, and without giving a chance to the show I just didn't connect to it, few weeks later I got a suggestion on Youtube for a highlight to a PPV called "Breaking Point" which included  a match between Legacy and D-Geneartion X , and I fell in love with it. After that I started to explore more about the business, and I explored about Edge and his Rated R Character, and about CM Punk who I think is amazing, specially with his Straight Edge character and his way of talking, as someone who likes to talk, I really liked that. And I discovered I have things in common with Punk, then I started to explore about Roddy Piper, who is Punk's favorite wrestler, by the time I explored about Roddy he became one of my all time favorites, if you ask me from who I take an inspiration in the ring, I will say Dolph Ziggler, he's one of my favorites to watch nowadays. "

2nd Question: what's the background story behind the idea of the "Second Thought" persona?

Answer : " My Character? I'll keep it real with you, Tye Clodd, Sean Tyler Mann are the same

Person, all funny and fun and coming with a positive attitude to the ring and with a 'let's have fun' mentality, but if someone dares to piss me off or ruin my way and ruin the show for the crowd who expect to see me in the ring, that's where the fun ends, I have just one thought on my mind to be honest, and the 2nd thought is that I see everything as 'my business' and if someone touches my clients which's the crowd, I'll probably force him to think again about it, and that's the story of Second Thought . "

3rd Question: your finisher, Second Thought is very effective, what made you think about such a great variation for a DDT maneuver ?

Answer:  "wow, that move goes way back, about 4 years ago, we were a group of three kids who love wrestling, one of the kids were Oscar Vice who's a good friend of mine, so he purchased a trampoline and I invented that move and used it as my finisher since the trampoline days, when I started wrestling I didn't had a way to show or express the move, so I got into a video of a wrestler called BT Gunn, he executed a variation to the move which's familiar to mine, so I went to the organization I was at that time  and asked if I can use it as a finisher, they said 'No, you too small', and I gave up on the finisher, I looked for an alternative, and I thought about Coast to Coast, Cardiff Bridge, Zig zag  and I even considered the Destino for my finisher, I didn't found the move that made me feel like "holy shit that's the move I want to use I love it" , then later I moved to the IWL where I found my new home with a very impressive crew and people that support me and helped me to develop myself, and help me to get into a better shape, I remember at that time I have seen "NXT TakeOver" and I have seen Valveteen Dream execute the move which reminds me of my variation for the move, some people say it's the same move that I used on the trampoline, then I remembered that I didn't ask since I moved to the IWL about using that as my finishing move, so I talked to my trainer, and since then "S e c o n d T h o u g h t " . I see that move as something that's also a full circle, from the trampoline days, to where I'll go in my future, I hope it'll be as far as it can be, but let's not be "overconfident", about the name, cool name isn't it ? "

If you ask me Tyler, It's a very cool name in my opinion. And a cool background story.

4th Question: what are your future goals? If there are any

Answer : " you ask about what are my goals and expectations for the future, and I ain't going to lie, the goals are far. My target is clear, I put myself a target which's to start Monday Night Raw, to open the most weekly episodic television show in history!!! And I'm not going to lie, I would be very happy to become Champion one day! "

5th and final Question : where you see yourself going in the future?

Answer : "where I see myself go ? I hope I come to a situation when I enter the ring, people expect to see me hit my finisher "S e c o n d T h o u g h t" during my match, like Austin with his Stunner or Randy with his RKO, but I don't want to be a 'one move wonder' I want to be more then that. I also expect myself to reach my main goal and to Open Monday Night Raw.

So that's it folks, this is Tyler, I really suggest you to see him wrestle. And catch up his highlights when you can.

Top British Wrestlers of all time

Hey everyone, I'm OG and today I'll talk abut some great British Wrestlers I got impressed by, the wrestlers most of them from the modern era and well known, recently I try to learn more about the British wrestling culture, and I'll learn more and sure more names will be added to the list.

So here are my top 10 British wrestlers that I got impressed by as a wrestling fan!
(Not in particular order)

#1 : Zack Sabre Junior
Might be one of the most impressive wrestler in the list, one of the greatest technicians if not the greatest technician today, a submission masterclass, technical wizard, an extraordinaire talent you gonna hear a lot from in the future. He started his career in 2004, trained by the NWA UK Hammerlock and by Chris Hero, mostly in his independent career he came an underdog who is talented but needs more experience , in 2015 it came to its peak as he wrestled in PWG's greatest match of all time against the world champion at that time, Roderick Strong. he came as a less experienced but he gave a 20 minute show stealing match with Roderick, after that match, people seemed to realize the talent of ZSJ, and since then he rose to the top of the Indy Scene and currently he even signed by NJPW and also going to be in ROH soon! Just go and check him out, you won't be disappointed, the man's making big waves and his matches are a special treat to watch, especially the match against Roderick Strong from 2015

#2 Dynamite Kid
One of the innovators from the UK area, trained by Stu Hart in the Hart Dungeon, in 1975 he made his debut, the man was a gifted talent and very stiff. very known for his diving headbutt and his technical moves, he mostly known for his rivalry against Tiger Mask, in 1977 he won his 1st title, the British Lightweight championship, and 2 and half years later he started his bookings in NJPW, he stayed there until 1984, in those four years his rivalry with Tiger Mask began taking the world by a storm, and their matches was a show stealers, specially the 1983 match which ended in a draw! After his tenure in NJPW, Kid joined WWF in 1985 and teamed up with Davey Boy Smith ( The British Bulldog) and they became the Bulldogs. They had a great feud with Bret Hart and Jim The Anvil Neidhart, in 1988 Dynamite left the WWF , and in October 10th 1996 Dynamite fought in his last match ever, day after the match Kid Suffered form an epileptic seizure, which is sad, since the epileptic seizure Dynamite didn’t returned to the ring, and he retired after the tag match in 1996

#3 Pete Dunne
One of UK's finest today, The Bruiserweight is making big waves in the wrestling world. One of the best Started his career in 2007 at age of 14, trained by Steven Edwards, started his rise on RPW and Progress, as he joined the companies in 2014,in 2016 he won one of his 1st major belts, as he won the RPW cruiserweight championship. He held the belt for 7 months until he dropped the belt to Will Ospreay. In 2017 he was a part of the UK Tournament of WWE. And competed for the WWE UK Championship , he went on to the finals where he lost to Tyler Bate, few months later, he beat Tyler Bate in a rematch on NXT's Takeover event. That match is one of the best matches in his career. And Pete holds the belt to this day, he having a 500+ days as the WWE UK Champ. And he is raising the belt's prestige. Pete is known for manipulating his opponents with holds and technical moves. One of the best mat wrestlers I have seen in a while. Pete is someone you going to hear about for a long time! I can assure you that.

#4 Will Ospreay
One of the best high flyers in the business, a young talent from Essex, England. Started his career in 2012, and began his rise in 2016 as he began working for New Japan Pro Wrestling, he was the winner of the BEST OF THE SUPER JUNIORS. At that Super Juniors month, Will had one of the best matches in his career, as he fought Ricochet in a match that took the world by a storm, a month later he challenged KUSHIDA and lost, but it was after a hard fought battle, Will continued his rise and in late 2017 it paid off as he won his 1st IWGP Junior Heavyweight championship, beating KUSHIDA, with that win he became the 1st British to hold the belt, he lost the belt to Marty Scurll few weeks later. As the time went on, Ospreay continued taking the world by the storm, and he started to gain a lot of reputation and momentum, and you can count on me when I say that, Will just got started. His best is yet to come. KEEP IT UP WILLY SAN!

#5 Drew Galloway/Mcintyre
Drew is currently at his prime, he's one of Raw's top talents today, he's a very talented wrestler. He returned to the WWE about a year ago, after few years in the independent scene and Impact Wrestling, his 1st WWE tenure from 2009 to 2014 wasn't going well, he needed to take that break to get improved and experienced out of the WWE and it paid off, in 2017 he came back and he was more fresh, more experienced, and it's an impressive and inspiring thing, to comeback to the WWE after you got released years ago, and to return a lot better then 1st tenure. Drew is currently on Raw's main event scene, he's teaming up with Dolph Ziggler. And they have a cool chemistry together. A good heel team. And it seems that WWE is going to go with Drew in a good direction and push him further in the future, I hope it'll happen. Drew is one of my Favorites today. It's a superstar I cannot hate. Because the whole 2nd coming is reminding me of myself at some places in life. Drew has impressed me also in his 1st WWE tenure. He's one of my favorites for a longtime. And I hope WWE going to give him this main event spot for a long time . He earned it.

#6 Marty Scurll
Marty's Villain character is one of the most colorful characters in wrestling today, he's a talented person. With a very high in ring IQ, portrayed as a villain that we usually see in movies, in 2014 Marty began his rise and he never looked back, he became a standout indy wrestler who is going to have a big future ahead of him, and it's damn true, 2017 Best of Super Juniors, Marty made his long awaited and highly anticipated debut in New Japan. He done a great impression in that tournament. And few months later he won his 1st belt in Japan, the IWGP Junior Heavyweight championship. And currently Marty is ROH's top star and one of NJPW's top Juniors. The man is going to get more success. I can assure you. This dude is so talented. And I really look forward to see what's in store for him.

#7 Davey Boy Smith "The British Bulldog"
1st powerhouse on our list! And it's the British Bulldog! He was known for his powerhouse type of wrestling and for also being great technician mind in the ring, started his in ring career in 1978, trained by the late great Stu Hart, 6 years after his Debut, Davey joined the WWF, teamed up with his cousin Dynamite Kid. They were mostly known in the 80's for the feud they had against the Hart Foundation, few years later, Bulldog left the WWF and wrestled in Japan, until he returned in 1990, in 1992 Davey had his best match of all time, fighting his brother in law Bret Hart for the Intercontinental championship in London, they stole the show, and Bulldog prevailed after a rollup. The fans loved it. Bulldog at that time was one of WWF's popular talents. Bulldog left in 1993 to WCW and a year later he came back again, this time he stayed in WWF for more years. And in 1997 he won the European championship after beating his other Brother in law, Owen Hart. and few months later, Davey left the WWF to join WCW, after the Montreal Screwjob. He stayed in WCW for a year, then came back to WWF for the last time, Davey tragically passed away on May 18th 2002, he died due to a heart attack, he was 39. Few weeks before his death, Bulldog teamed up with his son for few matches in his son's early wrestling matches.
I do believe Davey is one of WWE's most underrated wrestlers of all time and also one of the most fun wrestlers to watch, and I do believe he deserved a world championship push too. Currently his son Davey Boy Smith Sr. follows his dad's footsteps and he's making a great impression. He's making his dad proud. I can assure you that.

#8 Prince Devitt / Finn Balor
One of my all time favorites, the man who formed Bullet Club, and was one of the originals of the faction, he started his career in 2000, and 6 years later he was moved to Japan, where he was a part of the famous New Japan Dojo, when he joined NJPW, he was known for being a member of the CTO Stable, until in 2009 he formed Apollo 55 along with Ryusuke Taguchi, him and Taguchi won tag titles in several occasions, until in 2013 Devitt broke up with Taguchi and turned on him, then the Bullet Club was formed, Devitt led the Bullet club in it's 1st year, the 1st members were him, Bad Luck Fale, Tama Tonga and Karl Anderson, and then the Young Bucks came, while Devitt was in the Bullet Club he enjoyed a great success, having his 1st Major run, as he fought against The Ace Hiroshi Tanahashi and The Rainmaker Kazuchika Okada. A year after the Bullet Club was formed, Devitt left to WWE and joined the NXT Brand, where he became Finn Balor, he had great success in NXT, he won there the NXT Championship, had a great run with the belt for 293 days, after his success in NXT, Balor joined WWE's Main Roster, as a part of Monday Night Raw, on his 1st night on RAW, Balor Beat Roman Reigns, he earned a spot in Summerslam's WWE Universal championship match, as him and Seth Rollins fought for the belt, Balor sadly got injured and was out of action for nearly a year, since he returned in 2017's April, he's currently still part of RAW and he's a major part of the show, Balor is one of my favorites ever because he's responsible for the Bullet Club's arrival and his bad boy attitude back then in 2013. I hope he'll get success also in WWE. He earned it .

Number 9: Neville/Pac
One of the greatest talents to ever come from the UK to wrestling. Trained by the IWF, few years after his Debut, he began his Independent rise, by the name of PAC, he wrestled on DragonGate and PWG mostly, he caught the fans on fire with his athleticism and his pure work in the ring. And in 2013 he caught WWE's eyes too, they signed him to NXT where he was going by the name of Adrian Neville, and in less then a year Neville won the NXT Title. Few months later he lost the title to Sami Zyan in one of the best NXT Matches in that time, in 2015 Neville got called up to the main Roster, he enjoyed some pretty good matches on that year and he almost beat Seth Rollins for the WWE World title, few months later, Neville got injured. He returned on the late part of 2016, as he turned Heel and join the Cruiserweight division, he gave more life and fuel to this division who was dying for months, won the title a month later, had a great reign but a stupid finish as Enzo beat him.. Neville's frustrations with WWE just grew, as he step aside for a whole year from Wrestling and few months ago he left WWE, to return to the ring at his former home, Dragon Gate. The comeback was so awesome, and the future outcome gonna be great too. You all need to Keep an eye on this one

Number 10 : Roddy Rowdy Piper
Glasgow's own (he was born in Canada but lived in Scotland) , one of the 1st successful Superstars to come from the UK area, an amazing person, and also one of the best heel characters of all time, his talk show "The Piper's pit" was one of the most entertaining talk shows in wrestling, Roddy made his debut in 1969, as a jobber and opener of matches in the territories, In 1979 Roddy joined the WWF, but worked full time since 1984, in 1984 Piper was 1st a manager due to injuries and later he became a wrestler. In this year he also made his infamous turn, while attacking Jimmy Snuka. A year later, Roddy was in the 1st main event of WrestleMania, as he teamed up with Paul Orndoff, the man he was his manager, they lost to Hulk Hogan and Mr. T , on August 1986, Piper turned face and the crowd connected to him, and on WrestleMania 3 he beat Don Muraco in Piper's "Retirement match" . (Piper didn't retire, he took absence for a while to be a Actor)
In 1989 Piper returned as a face, and 3 years later he won the Intercontinental Championship, beating The Mountie, two months later he lost the belt to Bret Hart.
On the fall of 1996, Piper left the WWF, to WCW at Halloween Havoc PPV, and he started a feud with the nWo, Piper stayed on WCW during the Monday Night Wars until July 2000 when he left.
He made some brief appearences on NWA(TNA) During the 2002-2005 area
Also On March 2003 Roddy returned to WWE, attempted to help Vince Mcmahon vs. Hulk Hogan , and he stayed in WWE until June 2003. And in 2006 he returned, Since the comeback Piper appeared occasionally until his 2015 Death, his Legacy still impactful to this day, as legends and superstars influenced by him, also Piper inspired me in life. His charisma was heartcatching.

And now here are some Honorable Mentions of UK Wrestlers I would've like to mention

Doug Williams
Danny Burch
Bad News Barrett
Becky Lynch
Chris Adams
Dave Mastiff
Tyler Bate
Finlay
William Regal

Now my overall opinion on British Wrestling is that the style is fun to see, very technical, including innovative holds and counters, I really like that style, the British wrestling's style is also known for being a creative one. You have to expect some unexpected moves during matches. That's very extrodnaire.

And that's some of my opinions on the UK Wrestling, Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoyed , Have a great week!

Kenny Omega Path Of Greatness Part V

Kenny Omega, Path of Greatness Part V

Hey everyone, I'm OG and this is my 5th edition of Kenny Omega's Path of greatness, in this part we'll focus on Kenny's road from his match in Dominion vs. Kazuchika Okada until his last title defense at King Of Pro Wrestling

Before I start, I would love to shoutout Kenny, for  all of his likes and comments on my writings, the man is one of the coolest, Kenny is one of the most humble people I spoke with.

Another man I would like to give a shoutout to is my good friend Ophir Fishman, for motivating me in the last few months to continue working on my blog and of course for helping me a lot with my grammar , thank you Fish!

So let's start!

1st Chapter : Dominion, Kenny Omega Vs. Kazuchika Okada, Osaka Jo Hall, June 9th.  Two out of Three falls match, No Time Limit.
After their clash at the previous year in Dominion, Kenny comes to this match with one mission only,  to Claim the IWGP heavyweight belt, and to Avenge the 2 times he failed to capture the belt he was missing.
The match was built slow and it took a while until it got more momentum, Okada earned the 1st fall after about 20-30 minutes, after a while, Kenny captured the tying fall, but then the final sequence happened, that was a awesome sequence, but Kenny came on top after he hits a One Winged Angel to capture this important victory, the ending was indeed an incredible one, a great win for omega but also a fitting way to end Okada's 2 year reign.
After the match, the Young Bucks came to the ring and embraced with Kenny and Kota, they are now a newly formed stable, "Golden Elite".
Dominion was great night for Kenny.. I really looking forward to see what's next.

2nd Chapter, NJPW US Special, Kenny Omega's 1st title defense
On the early part of July, G1Month, we got a G1 Special before the G One Climax ! in the G1 Special, NJPW came to United States and Kenny set to defend his belt for the first time. His challenger is Cody. This match is not only for the belt, is for leadership and for pride and honor!
The match was all out outta control, it was brutal and crazy, in the end Kenny Omega were victorious after the grueling match.
After the match, while Bullet Club came to celebrate with Kenny, a SHOCKING turn happened.. Tama Tonga along with the Tongans ( Haku and Tanga ) came from OUT OF NO WHERE! and turned on Bullet Club! That shocking turn closed out the show, but moment before the show's end, Cody who came to try to save Omega and Bullet Club from the heinous assault he got attacked in the ring too, but after all the assault, Cody shook Kenny's hand and hugged him and they buried the hatchet. That moment closed out the show.

3rd Chapter..G1 Climax !

And here is The G1 Timeline
1st match: Kenny Omega Vs. Tetsuya Naito
Well, that match was pretty good start for both Kenny and Naito, they showed shades of the finals last year, the psychology is off the charts, the match was pretty good, Kenny Won after a One Winged Angel. And Naito looked pretty sharp and strong too.
Kenny's G1 record so far: 1 win, 0 losses

2nd Match, Kenny Omega Vs. Hirooki Goto
Kenny Won, in a pretty good match. Not a lot to mention tbh. Except for the fact that it was Champ Vs. Champ.
Kenny's G1 Record: 2 Wins, 0 Losses.

3rd Match, Kenny Omega Vs. Tama Tonga
2 of my fav BC members.. good match, Kenny won by DQ after Interference.
Kenny's G1 Record turns out to be a 3 wins, 0 losses.

4th Match. Kenny Omega Vs. Juice Robinson
Kenny won, after a hard fought Juice. Juice gave it all, but still wasn't enough tho.
Kenny's G1 Record turns to be 4 Wins, 0 Losses.

5th Match, Kenny Omega Vs SANADA
Sanada for me was the legit favorite to end Kenny's winning streak, but it didn't happen, instead Omega Won, but.. it was awesome match. It was a hard fought victory, with a fighting spirit.
Kenny's G1 Record is not 5 wins, 0 Losses

6th Match, Kenny Omega Vs. Zack Sabre Jr.
A dream match. And it was pretty good. Omega beat Zack after avoiding tap outs. Great match.
Kenny's G1 Record is 6 Wins, 0 Losses

7th Match, Kenny Omega Versus Tommohiro Ishii
Match of the year candidate for me, it was helluva match, very brutal, very intense. Ishii won and finished Omega's streak at 6.
Kenny's G1 Record becomes 6 wins, 1 Loss.

8th Match, Kenny Omega Vs. Yano Toru
The biggest shock of the G1 , Yano Beats Kenny! Just to think about it! The match was pretty good, the interferences of the BC OGZ added depth to the story. They cost Kenny the match, and gave YANO a freaking victory on Omega! Think they should let Omega feud with the three OGz . it has to happen , Elite Versus OGz .
Kenny's G1 Record heading to the last day of the Block competition : 6 wins, 2 losses

9th and final B Block match, The Most Anticipated Match, Kenny Omega Versus Kota Ibushi
Well, that was THE MATCH! Winner goes to the final, to face Hiroshi Tanahashi (A Block Winner) same venue that Omega and Kota made history on DDT by the way..
That match was epic. they went to their absolute limits! I feel so blessed I got to see it live. The story of the match is so deep, two best friends collide once again after all tease years, and for one of the richest prizes in wrestling, the G1 trophy final spot, the match  was amazing, and Kota won after a brutal Kamigoye to end it. And the post match was also so emotional. I loved it.
( Tanahashi won the G1 Finals, and He's gonna face Kenny Omega at WK13, unless a big upset happens during the time before WK13)

Last chapter,  The Road to WrestleKingdom 13!
In this chapter, Kenny goes on his way to keep his IWGP Heavyweight belt around his waist, and Tanahashi goes on a way to keep his G1 briefcase that guarantee the WrestleKingdom main event spot, this chapter goes through three parts.

Part One: September 15th, Hiroshima Sun Plaza , Hiroshima
In the first part of the chapter, we have Kenny Omega's first title defense since the G1 as he defend his IWGP Belt against Tommohiro Ishii, who beat Kenny in the G1 last month to earn that title shot. While Kenny defend the belt against Ishii, Hiroshi Tanahashi in a three on three tag team match, as he teams up with the returning Tomaoki Honma and Togi Makabe and they battle against CHAOS's Kazuchika Okada , Jay White and YOSHI HASHI.
Tanahashi and his partners beat CHAOS in a good competitive match, and Kenny Omega defended his belt successfully against Tommohiro Ishii, in a highly anticipated match, they tore each other apart in that match, the fighting spirit of Ishii just wasn't enough to Kenny's spirit at that match.

Part Two: Spetember 23, Kobe World Hall, Kobe
In that part, Kenny wasn't featured on the card, but Hiroshi Tanahashi defended his G1 Briefcase for the 1st time, as he fought Kazuchika Okada.
They took each other to the limit, the match was great, and Tanahashi was victorious.
After the match, we found out Tanahashi's next G1 Defense opponent, and we found it in a shocking fashion, as Jay White came from out of nowhere, hit Tanahashi with a  Blade Runner and also turned on his Chaos teammate Kazuchika Okada along with Gedo as they attacked him.
After the assault, Jay said that he's challenging Tanahashi for the briefcase at KOPW in three weeks and that he vows to defeat him .

Part Three, King of Pro Wrestling, Ryogoku Kokugikan, Tokyo, October 8th.
At the 3rd part of our Chapter, we finally knew who will go to WrestleKingdom, as Hiroshi Tanahashi defended his G1 Briefcase against Jay White, and successfully beat him.
And Kenny on the other side defeated Cody and Kota Ibushi in a 3 way match for his IWGP Belt, after a grueling battle, Kenny came away with the win, successfully defending the belt for the 3rd time overall.

Now the stage is set, WrestleKingdom 13, Kenny Omega Versus Hiroshi Tanahashi, The Cleaner Vs. The Ace. Two once in a lifetime athletes battle it out for the most coveted prize in our business, the IWGP Heavyweight Championship! On the Grandaddy of them all, WrestleKingdom! In the Tokyodome.

I really looking forward to that match, it's going to be a must see battle!

Thank you all for reading!

Sammy Guevara - AEW's promising kid

Hey everyone, I'm OG and today I'm going to give you a little sneak peek about one of the main attractions of the upcoming show ...
