John Cena - The Man Who Proved Us Wrong

Hello everyone. I'm OG and today, i'm going to talk about a subject that I personally believe in for quite a long time, and I wanted to share it with you.

So today We are going to discuss about one of my biggest role models in wrestling and in life. And his name is John Cena.

Well, in case you don't know, John Cena is my biggest role model in and out of the ring. He's done it all in the ring, and also became a movie star.. And he also motivated me throughout my life to never surrender. And never give up.

Yeah i know there was a short time when i kinda "disliked" Cena, but it's not his fault, i thought other people deserved his spot on 2010-2013 time area. But Cena in that time gave one of his best matches and one of my personal favs of that time, when he fought Daniel Bryan, I never tought they will bring a great match to be honest. I was sceptic most of the time.
And they literally proved me wrong big time. But that's not the 1st and only time Cena proved critics wrong..in fact. He did it in a lot of scenarios. And that's why he's a role model for me.

Here are more examples of John Cena proving he's a bonafied legend and a good in ring worker.

1st: 2006.
In 2006, John was starting to get hated and booed by a strong part of the crowd for his success, they also accused him for his wrestling skills and that he uses a short ammount of moves.
John responded by giving us a great time area in 2006 and 2007 as he fought Triple H on WrestleMania 22 in a hostile Chicago crowd and he and Triple brought us a great match and it delivered very well.
Few months later.. ECW One Night Stand, John Cena battles Rob Van Dam in one of the most vocal crowds in Hammerstein Ballroom and guess what Cena did? Continued his role and added some " heel touches" by shoving a ref.. ignoring ECW's crowd and make them pissed the whole match. Eventough RVD won it was a great thing to see.

2nd time Cena proved us wrong was in 2007.

In 2007 Shawn Michaels entered the WWE title frame, as Cena holds the belt and starting a rivalry with HBK, at Wrestlemania 23 they literally stole the show when people said Cena can't wrestle, Cena and HBK did it also on Raw in London, their London match is Raw's best match ever. Cena here silenced a lot of critics and earned some respect. But.. the next part is the main part of Cena earning respect and proving critics wrong..

3rd time Cena proved critics wrong was in 2015-2016.

1st off, 2015 was perhaps Cena's best run in the company, since he won the US belt from Rusev, Cena introduced us an Open Challenge in his title reign
In his open challenge time, Cena did great things like stealing the show with guys like Sami Zyan, Cesaro, Zack Ryder,Stardust, Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens.
Cena's US Title open challenge time introduced the WWE universe and the main roster to a new "rookies" like Sami Zyan and Kevin Owens.
And in his US Title open challenges, Cena brought us some new parts like, New moves, improvement in the ring and he gave chances to young upcoming talents to have the stage, and slowly the stigma of him burying talents decreased. Which's very cool to see.
He held the title until losing to Seth Rollins at Summerslam.

A year later
In 2016, Cena had a feud with AJ Styles.
AJ Turned heel on him and they had a trilogy of great bouts which are very good. Specially the final match.
The 1st two matches, AJ won. The final match Cena won.
But in that feud we saw more great things in Cena, as he helps to put over AJ on the map, and he gave AJ more "exposure" eventough AJ didn't need it but that still awesome.
The feud with AJ helped a lot to AJ in WWE as he won a WWE title and at that time he was WWE's best heel worker. Currently AJ is 1 of the most talked about stars in WWE. he did the most by himself but the feud with John helped a lot to AJ, we cannot deny it.

Currently and Recently, John Cena sometimes arrive in WWE but as a part time wrestler which is cool, now we get new faces in the main stage like Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Roman Reigns and more.
And When Cena comes to work in WWE, he helps putting guys over like last year when he had a month feud with Roman and he put Roman over.

Now my point, John Cena throughout the years showed what Loyalty is and how much the WWE is means a lot to him.
He was the face of the product for a decade and now he passing the torch.

So i wrote it all for one reason, to Thank John Cena for all he's doing and done for the WWE, as a former critic, and as a fan.

Thank you John.

And Thank you all for reading.

Hell in a Cell 2018 review

Hello fellas, i'm OG, and today we are going to talk about HELL IN A CELL PPV which happened last sunday night in the AT&T Center in San Antonio Texas.

Before we begin, i personally would like to shoutout and to invite you all to like and follow our country's fight network's pages of EGO TOTAL!

Facebook Page

Instagram Page

So, first off i gotta say it's been quite a while since i really enjoyed a Main roster event, to be honest with you, that PPV was fun! it had a lot of ups, and i hope WWE continues with that direction heading towards. because they are doing a great job lately. and i think it's so good to see that.

Let's begin!

Pre Show: New Day Versus Rusev Day, for the SMACKDOWN Tag Team Titles.
The tag team as you know is very competitive and have a lot to prove and they proving it.
this good tag team matchup was another example.
the match was might be a short one, but it had great moments. the action was paced, built start to finish the ending was dramatic and good.
during the match you saw the atmosphere of Rusev and Aiden, the tensions and the drama they give.
it's a great sign!
the ending was like this : Aiden tags in, locks the Accolade on Kofi who escapes, then Rusev enters the ring tries to take out Kofi and Kofi escapes him..then BOOM trouble in paradise to finish it. 1...2...3.
great start!
Overall Rating: 65 out of 100.
Sidenote: i hope Rusev Vs. Aiden will happen in the future.

Next Match, Opener for the main show, Hell In a Cell Match. Randy Orton Vs. Jeff Hardy.
The build up leading to the match was very good and surprising, we saw some crazy side in Randy Orton, it is so refreshing to his character and very colorful to his gimmick,
the match was chaotic, it started in a brawl type of war. few minutes in the match, we had one of the most disturbing and crazy acts in WWE, Randy opens a toolbox and opens it, picks a screwdriver, enters the ring.. then he rips Jeff's earhole with the screwdriver. That was so disturbing, so painful, eventually Jeff countered with a low blow but that was insane.
the rest of the match went on very nice. the ending was insane, started with a Twist of fate by Jeff and then he put Orton on a table. Jeff climbs the two ladders, and then literally grabs the top of the cell and swings into a splash but Orton moved out of the situation as Jeff crashes through the table. The ref wants help and Orton says fuck it and covers him and wins it.
Overall Rating: 68 out of 100.
Great work by Orton and Jeff, i'm pretty sure that beef is not over yet.

Next Match, Smackdown Women's Title, Charlotte Flair (c) Vs. Becky Lynch
since Charlotte won the title at SummerSlam, we saw a new Becky, who turned on her former best friend, and became one of the talked about females in WWE. the build to the match for the title was very great! in one month Becky turned from being a "boring" type of female to one of the most creative heels in the Women's Division

now the match was good, as Becky targeted Charlotte's arm, she took control on most of the match.
it was brilliant. the ending came from out of nowhere, that' why i loved it a lot
as Charlotte attempted a Spear, Becky made a shocking counter to a Cradle, a 3 count and a win!
that came out of no where! After the match, Charlotte offered Becky a handshake, Becky refused and left the ring statisfied.
Overall Rating : 65 out of 100.

Next Match: Raw Tag Team Championship, Dean Ambrose& The Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins Vs. Drew Mcintyre&Dolph Ziggler(c).

in 4 words , Match of the night.
now for real.. that match was so freakin' good.
the feud is great, the build up is great, well most of the show focused on this feud of Shield Vs. Braun,Ziggler,Drew.

in the match we saw a lot of creative moves, double team moves, some odd and great sequences and a smart heel tactics of Dolph&Drew, who did it all in order to keep the title in their hands, the ending was pretty good.
Seth Rollins did his singanture Superplex. then he tried the Falcon Arrow, as he lift Dolph to a Suplex variation. Mcintyre comes and BOOM! hits Seth with the Claymore.
Ziggler&Drew retains. in what was a special treat and a great bout, awesome work by both of the teams.
Overall Rating: 85 out of 100.

Next Match: AJ Styles (c) Vs. Samoa Joe, for the WWE Championship.

Joe and AJ always amaze me. since their TNA days with Christopher Daniels they always were known for a special bond and a terrific chemistry who delivers a wonderful results in the ring.
now in WWE, the Joe Vs. Styles rivalry renewed with a special twist, Joe also targeting Styles's weakness, his family, as Joe getting more and more hungry for gold, he finally found a spot where he can trigger AJ.

Now the storyline of Joe and AJ is my favorite storyline in WWE today, can't lie. i love it. and the build up to HIAC was good. eventough i expected them to battle in the Cell structure they still had a great build

The match.. well it was great, the move sequences were good, the in ring psycholigy was great. it was great as the previous one, this time the finish was by a pinfall. but in the end there was a twist..
AJ countered Joe's Coquina Clutch to a pinning predicament, but while the count went to two, AJ Tapped out, the referee didn't saw that because he was focused on the pin, and the Tapout was at the other side. AJ won, but in a controversial fashion, in the post-match, we saw Samoa Joe getting mad and Upset. he got very angry and annoyed by the finish of the match.
Overall Rating: 79 out of 100.

Next Match: Daniel Bryan&Brie Bella Versus The Miz and Maryse, Mixed Tag Match
if we talk about the storyline of Miz&Bryan, it's a never ending chapter. the story of Miz and Bryan is 8 years old right now, started from NXT, and then led to Smackdown. that rivalry is great and all..but i have an opinion that might shock you.

My opnion which may surprise you : with all my appreciation to the womens in wrestling and women's division, i didn't like that they added Brie and Maryse to the mix, yeah they added some good stuff, but it kinda killed the effectivity of Bryan Vs. Miz, that's how i feel personally.
In My Opinion, that should and should've been Bryan Vs. Miz only.

Now the match, well the match was fine, nothing special to be honest. but it was still okay.
i didn't expected Maryse and Brie to brawl or something, but i expected them to get in the ring for a long time without a terrible rollup finish. those finishes kills the effect of the result in my opinion
besides the finish, the rest of the match was good, but not too good.
Overall Rating: 55 out of 100.
Side note: i have nothing against Brie and Maryse, my opinion only based on the feud, i have respect to both of them.

Next Match: Raw Women's title Ronda Rousey (c) Versus Alexa Bliss
Ronda's arrival in WWE made huge wave, since the Tag on Mania34, the fast impact she did in the next months is crazy, winning the Raw Women's title from Alexa Bliss in a Dominant fashion was so crazy. she's so dominant, but Alexa has found a weakness of Ronda few weeks later and a week before the HIAC ppv match.. Bruised Ribs, yeah.. the ribs of Ronda is now a target for Alexa and she uses it as an advantage in her attacks and will use it in the match.

The Match.. better then their 1st meeting that's for sure. the match was good, a good 10 minute fight.
with a good ending,
eventough Bliss lost she still looked lot better, she targeted Ronda's ribs as a weak point that can help her, in the end of the match, Alexa Tapped out to the Armbar by Ronda.
Overall Rating : 62 out of 100.

THE MAIN EVENT: Braun Strowman Vs. Roman Reigns (c) For the Universal Championship inside the Hell In a Cell with Mick Foley as a Guest referee.
A good build up leading to this HIAC Match, as Braun cashes in his Money In The Bank Briefcase on RAW, challenges roman to HIAC Match on HIAC ppv.
since that moment, Braun turned Heel on Roman, as he struck him during a tag match, and formed an alliance with Dolph Ziggler and Drew Mcintyre.

Now the match, the match was chaotic! Hardcore type of fight. which was pretty good, the ending was special
1st off Drew&Dolph tried to enter the cell, then Ambrose&Rollins came, eventually all the four battled on the top of the cell, and then Dolph tried to climbs down the cell and Rollins followed him and they battle on the side of the cell, they eventually slammed each other into the cell and fall off through the announce tables.  Great Spot.
few seconds later.... BROCK LESNAR's music hits! and it's BROCK! He's Back!
Brock broke the cell door and attacked both Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns. costing a match to end in a No Contest.
Incredible stuff.

Overall Rating: 70 out of 100.

Overall, HIAC was great, you see lot of improvement by WWE as time goes by, and it's a refreshing thing to see.

So, That was my HIAC Review, i hope you enjoyed.

now let's begin our list..

Number 10: The Undertaker Versus Brock Lesnar, Hell In a Cell 2015.

yeah. from the 2015 trilogy between Taker and Brock..that match was the grudge one, the one to finish this whole rivalry, between those two beastie animals, anyway.. the storyline was pretty good, wasn't a great one but it was good, the match in the cell was very good, they of course had a better one years ago (we'll get to that) but this one was one of my personal fav matches in WWE at that year.
That match was a brutal brawl type of match, both took each other to the limit! the ending of the match was incredible, and the aftermath with the Wyatts was pretty good too, overall that match was great. especially the spots when Brock and Taker fought on the exposed mat which was so terrific.
Overall Rating :85 out of 100

Number 9: Batista (c) vs. The Undertaker, World Heavyweight Title, Survivor Seires 2007
one of The best feuds of Batista's career came to a conclusion, as he fought The Undertaker on a brutal fight. that match was in my eyes one of Batista's best career matches. he took him to the limit. as both of those big men fought to a grueling match.. then came the end.. Edge interfered and cost The Undertaker the title match, as he was dressed as a camera man.. that ending was a shocking one that helped batista to secure a win after an insane match. two faces, getting a huge match which had a pure chemistry and in ring work.
Overall Rating : 86 out of 100.

Number 8: Batista (c) Vs. Triple H, Vengance 2005. World Heavyweight Title.
the storyline of Batista's turn was one of the best storylines i have ever witnessed as a growing fan, Batista did it so smooth and so good! the 3 matches of HHH and Dave were intense. especially the HIAC match. that match concluded this whole 3 match series very well. loved it that Triple H has put Dave over at this match, it was a great match. and i believe it's a shame that it's not getting any mentions. because that match was pretty great. the whole storyline was very good. you should check it out.
Overall Rating : 87 out of 100

HONORABLE MENTION I :Randy Orton Vs. The Undertaker. Armageddon 2005.

yep, that was kinda shocking i know. but that match for me was one of my favorites as a kid growing up on Smackdown! brand. and that HIAC match that ended it was crazy as hell,
that feud put Randy officially on the map.
story wise it was one of the great stories of this era, wrestling wise it was very good. and very underrated.
it was pretty great match. i feel it supposed to be talked about more, the pure geniousness of the Legend Killer gimmick. the pure IQ of The Undertaker.. man it was epic.
Overall Rating : 83.5 out of 100

Honorable Mention II : DX Vs. Legacy, Hell In a Cell 2009
well that match was phenomenal, a fantastic way to show that Cody Rhodes and Ted dibiase are smart like their own dads. they used EVERYTHING in their advantage, even locked Hutner out of the freaking cell! that's pure smart tactics.
why i didn't put this match on a top level is because the ending, it was kinda letdown..i have expected to see a "passing of a torch" when DX putting Legacy over.. it didn't happened. but the match still was pretty good.
83 out of 100

Honorable Mention III:Six Men Hell in a Cell, Armageddon 2000, for the WWF Championship
Kurt angle (c) Vs. Triple H Vs. The Undertaker Vs. Rikishi Vs. Stone Cold Vs. The Rock

the 1st ever and for now the only 6 men HIAC match.. which combined three rivalries at once! 6 main eventers of that time colliding in a slobberknocker fight, you didn't knew who was going to win this match. it went ANY FUCKIN' WHERE! it went in the ring, out of the ring.. to the stage.. in the cell, on top of the cell .. we even had a truck near the cell! and Undertaker Chokeslammed Rikishi from the top of the cell on to that truck! insane warfare, in one of the most underrated matches in history!
i really loved that match and suggest you to google it and see it
Overall Rating : 82 out of 100

Number 7: The Usos Vs. New Day, Hell In a Cell 2017, for the Smackdown Tag Team Belts.
one of the best tag matches in WWE. period. at least a top 10 tag matches of all time in WWE.
New Day and Usos are two of the best tag teams in WWE today, they had last year one of the most spactacular tag matchups in history. this feud was incredible, 2 teams battle it out to be the best. and it was very good.
the match had some very creative tactics by both of the teams , they used the weapons as an advantage, used the cell for some very creative spots. that is pure smart IQ and whoever of the writers who wrote this match deserves a BIG round of applause.
the teammates of both tag teams literally sacrificed each other in some spots and took risks for their team like it's a superbowl game. that was nuts! what made me fell in love with this match is the chemistry the Usos have with the new day, they knew to get the best out of the situation and make it a match to remember. and it's pure smartness. that match was a career defining moment for both of the teams. Top Notch.
Overall Rating : 90 out of 100.

Number 6: Triple H Vs. The Undertaker, Wrestlemania 28, Shawn Michaels as Guest Referee.
"The End Of an Era"
yep, that match supposed to end the era of "The historic three.  eventough Taker and HHH will battle it out on Australia in few weeks. that was the match where it all *ended*  it supposed to be a triple sendoff also. without those comeback scenarios. we need new blood.
anyway, now let's get to this storyline and match. the story is that HHH wants a final chance vs. Undertaker's streak at WrestleMania. that led to HELL IN A CELL match.
this match.. without a shadow of a doubt was 1 of Undertaker's best matches in the 2010's  the involvement of Shawn as a ref added a lot of flavour, and it was pretty special .
Hunter did an incredible job in the ring, kept on proving why he's an elite top tier wrestler.
that match was nuts. a fantastic way to end it all.
Overall Rating : 91 out of 100

Number 5: Triple H Vs. Shawn Michaels, Bad Blood 2004.

that's also my favorite WWE feud ever. the whole build up and storyline was instant classic. the way WWE has built the tension of Hunter and Shawn, since H made the turn in 1999 seemed like Triple H had Shawn as his target to achieve. 2002 was the big explosion. now in 2004 the WWE ended the feud with one final fight, HELL IN A CELL.
that match was the longest Hell in a Cell matchup in WWE History by the way..it was brtual, intense, it was a phenomenal fight. the match was very good, and i suggest you 1st off before you see this match. to see the storyline, and how it built since 2002 to 2004, you should see that one, it's a very good one of a feud.
this feud showed that Shawn Michaels still got it. he still has it in his arsenal he still the showstopper.
Overall Rating: 94 out of 100.

Number 4: Edge Vs. The Undertaker, Summerslam 2008
2008 was one of if not THE BEST year in Edge's career. after finishing 2007 with the World Title, you knew that 2008 will be a special treat too
the feud with the undertaker symbolized a lot in Edge, it showed how much of a great heel he's
the HIAC match.. this match was pretty interesting and it had a lot of ups, as a grudge to the rivalry of Edge & Undertaker, that match literally stole Summerslam's show and was the match of the night on that night.
the spot of Edge's spear on the undertaker through the cell was insane and then the announce table spear was incredible! one of the best spots in edge's career.
i truly believe that he shouldv'e won it but it doesn't matter that much. lovely match
Overall Rating 96 out of 100.

Number 3: Mankind Vs. The Undertaker, King of The Ring 1998.
aw the late 90's what a classical time! and this event in Pittsburgh PA is a day to remember. one of the most BRUTAL matches ever has happened on this event.
Mankind and Undertaker actually started this whole match on the top of this structure. which's an insane way to start off this match. then Taker tossed Mankind from the top of the cell through the announce table, that moment is so memorable! and it's written in history already,
then MICK literally left a stretcher in order to return to the match! a bruised injured and hurt Mankind is back to the top of the cell.. just to fall through the top of the cell after a brutal chokeslam!
then Foley and Taker continued the match in the ring and gave us an epic performance. it was a freaking slugfest!
Taker won, but big props to foley on giving us a big moment and a fight of a true legend.
Overall Rating : 97 out of 100

Number 2: Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker, Bad Blodd 1997.
the 1st ever HIAC match was one of the greatest matchups in WWE history.. a month before facing Bret Hart for the WWF title, Shawn battled The Undertaker, the one man Shawn screwed out of the title.
inside the demonic Cell, many peopel say that it was the greatest HIAC match ever.. well. it was one of them for sure...
as Shawn attempts to escape the cell and get breathing room in the match. Taker catches him, and brutalize him ! the match was most in Taker's side, and yeah he even made HBK fall from a top of the cell through a table which was shocking one of a fall.
the ending of the match was the point i really loved the most
Kane debuted and broke the freakin' door of the cell, attacked The Undertaker, HBK Won,
incredible debut, and a fantastic match.
Overall Rating : 100 out of 100.

So... what's the Number one?.. My NUMBER One is

Number 1: Triple H (c) Vs. Cactus Jack(Mick Foley), WWF title match, NO WAY OUT 2000.
that match was for Foley a last chance type of match. a loss will finish his career.
and Foley bought Triple H the fight of a lifetime, that was crazy match. perhaps one of Triple H's most brutal matches.
the side of the cell was broken! we saw a great brawl type a fight..and a  sick announce table bump! and one of the sickest back body drops ever
as Triple H Countered a Pilledriver to a backdrop and threw Foley through the cell and he fell through the ring!! the fall made a freaking hole at the ring! then a pedigree to seal the deal
awesome match and a fantastic story! as Foley puts over The Game
Overall Rating: 100 out of 100

Thanks for reading fellas.
and let's enjoy HIAC ! that's gonna be phenomenal

Sammy Guevara - AEW's promising kid

Hey everyone, I'm OG and today I'm going to give you a little sneak peek about one of the main attractions of the upcoming show ...
