"Stop The Rain"

Hello fellas, I'm Ofek and today, I'm going to do something I usually not used to do, it's gonna be a "Rant".

Before I start I want to say something that personally is important to me. This blog sometimes contains a "vocal opinions" of mine so I want to say this, whether you agree with what I say or not, it ain't matter to me that much, honestly, I do it for fun and I do it as a fan who has his own "point of view". So if you disagree, feel free. Just respect my opinion cause I'll respect yours.
Now the subject I'll talk about a thing that honestly I want to get off my chest about is  Kazuchika Okada's IWGP current reign.
So let's start..

Okay so first off I have to say, I don't hate Okada, in fact i'm also not a fan of him, but I do respect him, but this long length title reign makes me sick! That reign is too fuckin' long for god's sake, and what personally bothers me is that it doesn't stop!
Actually, the reign started very nicely with a great match with Tetsuya Naito , and the 1st defense was great, Vs. Naomichi Marufuji, and then vs. Kenny Omega on WK11. And few months later vs. Katsuyori Shibata. But that's when it shouldv'e ended! At Dominion of last year, Okada should have lost to Kenny, without this "Time Limit" bullcrap. Without this Rainmaker city .. oh fuck! That rainmaker finisher also makes me pissed off, how a freakin' lariat can finish off matches? How the fuck? After dominion, I lost any of my interest in Okada, truly honest, that's when I realized how much overrated he's and how much that title reign don't mean a damn thing, I know some people call it "the greatest reign ever" but damn! Open your eyes! Can't you see how much it's not like that? Can't you see how much boring that title reign? Bruh!
The title defenses after the G1 were really sucks in my opinion, the one vs. EVIL, bruh that could be better.. the one vs. Naito at WK12.. fuck it! Naito should have won! He should have beat Okada, I ain't trippin' that dude literally destroyed a one faction in one title reign! He beat all of the Los Ingobernables members except for Hiromu Takahashi. And some of y'all actually call it  " BEST REIGN EVER" ? bro what the fuck? Haven't you heard about Kenta Kobashi's GHC title reign ? or any of Misawa's Triple Crown title reigns?  I do respect Okada and I always will, but man.. that title reign really made me lost any interest in him. And it really comes from someone who follows NJPW for some years, If it wasn't bothering for me, I wouldn't even open this current blog about him and would do another subject, but damnit it pisses me off, Okada's title reign is now combined for 705+ Days! In one title defense he beats Kenta Kobashi's GHC title reign of 735 days! It really triggered me because Kobashi is much better then Okada.
Speaking of Kobashi, Okada isn't even close to Kobashi's league in my opinion. I mean..Okada is great, but to compare him to Kobashi? To compare him to Misawa?
Are you crazy? Have you lost your damn mind? I really respect Okada, but fuck. That title reign is too long and it has to end!
I really hope Kenny beats Okada at dominion, I really do. Because I can't imagine Okada's reign longer then Kobashi's reign, not in my wildest nightmares! Kobashi's reign was nearly the same amount of defenses as Okada's reign but Kobashi's reign was more healthy in my view, it was more better, with more quality. People not talk about Kobashi's reign that much.  And honestly it triggers me, because Kobashi is a GOD in Japan and in Puro wrestling.

Okada's reign is so overrated, and his character too. I honestly fine with the whole RainMaker Character, for real, the entrance is great, clothes are cool except for that crappy Bob Marley type of pants, but.. the moves.. dude why the fuck his moveset is so short? Why? Just tell me! Why his finisher is a freakin Lariat ? he's not Stan Hansen, Stan's Lariat was a GOD LIKE Lariat instead of Okada's Lariat which's not even close, the character of Okada needs a twist in my opinion, and a Title loss! He can't hold the most prestige belt in the world for that long without giving it a relevance ! the title needs a new face! It’s time to give a reign to Naito/Omega/Ibushi!. There was a time when Tanahashi had a title reign of 11 title defenses, and Okada was the guy to "take his crown" so why the fuck that takes longer then Tana's reign? In order to break any title record? That's why? To make Okada the god? Bruh Okada won't ever be a god if he would continue that reign without losing, soon fans will lose interest in him cause his character ain't fucking changed that much. So New Japan, I just say, Give Us A New IWGP Champ ! please.
And please, Make a Refreshing change for Okada's character, maybe a twist with a turn or something, because if that's gonna continue like that.. I don't know if your fans will like it too to be honest. It's not the Hogan Era when a reign could last forever (eventough Hogan's reign was big pile of shit but I'll talk on that other time).

So, that was my opinion. Again, I just say my opinions, I don't care if you like my opinions or not. For real, I don't give a shit. I just say my opinions. I hope ya respect this.
Thanks for reading.

Kenny Omega, Path Of Greatness part IV

Kenny Omega, Path Of Greatness Chapter IV
Hey everyone, I'm OG and today I'm going to do my 4th edition of the Kenny Omega path of greatness, at the previous chapter we witnessed Kenny winning the IWGP US title and going into the G1, in this chapter, we'll focus on Kenny's time from the match Vs. Chris Jericho, until his upcoming match at Dominion, so let's get down to business..

WrestleKingdom 12, Alpha Vs. Omega
Heading to WrestleKingdom 12, Kenny looking for redemption and to avenge Jericho's assaults from the recent weeks, their match is a No Holds Barred. For Kenny's US Title. The match was very intense, brutal match from side to side, move by move, and there was points where personally I wasn't sure if Kenny will keep the belt, until the end, the ending was crazy, Kenny with a devastating One Wing Angel on a Chair, to finish the match, Kenny keeps the title in his hands and getting his revenge on the legendary Chris Jericho.
The Jericho/Omega feud was a short one, for a month/2 months. But I gotta say that feud went above the expectations, in my opinion, that's probably one of the hottest feuds to kick off 2018, Chris showed that his genius legend grows and gonna grow a lot more, Kenny on the other hand Showed that he's here to stay. He's here to Kick Ass. And he ain't going anywhere.
I give the Omega/Jericho feud 4.75 stars,  great job by NJPW, Chris and Kenny. I hope to see more from Jericho and Omega, I even think they can be a great tag but I'll talk about that next time.

Day after WK12, New Year's Dash. "The Unexpected I"
New year's dash events are always fill with surprises, 2 years ago we saw AJ kicked outta the BC, Last Year we saw Suzuki Gun's return, this year.. this year we saw something that many of us never thought that they'll see.
After a match, Cody along with  fellow Bullet Club Members, tried to attack Kota Ibushi , while Cody took a steel chair and entered the ring, a split second before Cody attempts to hit Kota with a chair, here Comes Kenny! Kenny Omega comes to the aid of his former best friend, one of the most surprising things in the wrestling world probably, because Kota and Kenny aren't friends anymore, since Kenny turned on Kota on 2015, Ibushi and Omega wasn't in the same ring, that was the 1st time in 2.5 years that the two "Golden Lovers" were in the same ring, we didn't saw a reuntion but will we see a reunion on the horizon?
Also in New Year's dash we found out the new challenger for Kenny at New Beginning, and his name is Jay White, "SWITCHBLADE" , Switchblade was introduced by Kenny 1st, Kenny tried to recruit him to the Bullet Club, but then Jay hits a Blade Runner on Omega, Refusing to join Kenny and Bullet Club.
a day after he refused to join Omega, Jay White Joined CHAOS.

About A month later…

New Beginning, The Unexpected II
Kenny Omega Vs. Jay White, IWGP US Championship match, Kenny and Jay had a very good match, Jay showed how much he's improved from the match with Tanahashi which was a let down. The match was ended after Jay hits a Blade Runner, Jay is the new IWGP US Champ, a shocking way to finish Omega's title reign, that wasn't all. After the Match. An intense Adam Page comes to challenge Jay for the US Belt, as he comes to "ruin" Jay's celebration, then Omega took the belt and gave it to Jay White as a sign of respect, then Cody came and was furious on Omega, the two exchanged some harsh words and pushes as members of Bullet Club came to separate the two, Omega accidently pushed one of the Bucks, which led Matt&Nick to leave the ring, the rest of the Bullet Club members who were in the ring left too, but then.. Cody with a Cross Rhodes to Kenny! That Cross Rhodes was shocking, Cody turns on Kenny and attacked him along with Hangman Page
Until this happened :  KOTA IBUSHI Comes to Kenny's Aid! Kota Ibushi Saves Kenny Omega!
That moment led to a very emotional reunion which was phenomenal, fans were in tears at that moment, this moment announced officially the reunion of the Golden Lovers. That moment for me was the moment of the year by far. Omega and Ibushi's reunion

Later on the same month, HONOR RISING
Kota Ibushi and Kenny Omega's first tag team match together since their exciting reunion early in the month. They facing Cody Rhodes and Marty Scurll, the match was pretty good, you could see the chemistry of Kota and Omega together which reminds some of their DDT Days, that was good to see. The match was good, the ending was great as Kenny and Kota hits their new combo finisher on Marty to pick up the win.
After the match, Omega and Kota speaking to the crowd, they say that they're the best tag team in the world, but then.. Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson came to the ring, they announce that they are move on to the heavyweight division and they say that they are the best tag team in the world, not Kota and Omega..

Few weeks later, Strong Style Evolved, Kota Ibushi and Kenny Omega Vs. The Young Bucks
Strong Style Evolved, March 25th,
On March 25th we witnessed history, NJPW's 1st show in California and a dream match, Young Bucks Vs. Golden Lovers, it was a big match , we saw a lot from it, perhaps one of the best Tag matches in history, the chemistry this 2 teams had.. crazy. The story was great, with a pure excitement.  The elements were so good, Matt with a hurt back giving a fight of a lifetime was something else! And the element that Kenny hesitating whether to hit Matt with his finisher or not and Matt forcing Omega to hit the finisher…wow! That was a great story to tell, the match like I said was one of the best tag matches of all time, it was fantastic, absolutely fuckin' fantastic! The ending was so good.  Loved it, but after the match, an angry Cody comes to confront the Bucks due to their loss and Kenny comes in to stand up for the bucks,  it was a very good moment, bravo to everyone involved in this segment!
I honestly think that the Golden Lovers showed in the match on Cali that they still has it as a team , they still got the "fuel" they had back in DDT, they really great together.

2 weeks later, ROH Supercard of Honor, Kenny Vs. Cody.
That match was highly anticipated. And fully hyped on anywhere, whether it's the "Being The Elite" or ROH events or NJPW. And this match was very good, we saw lot of sights that shows us why Cody is one of the best bad guys in the world today, and we saw a great psychology. That was a great element for the match, and the story was great
The ending was confusing but also very shocking, the bucks came to interfere after the referee was down, and they aim to hit Cody with a double Superkick, Cody dodged from the SuperKick attempt, and the kick accidently hits Kenny, that cost Kenny the match, then Cody hits a cross Rhodes to end the match, shocking win for Cody.
After the match Kenny refused Bucks's help and "pushed them aside" while he leaves the ring very upset.

A month later, Wrestling Dontaku's 2 days.

The 1st Day: Kenny Omega Vs. Hangman Page
That match was very good to be honest, Hangman as Cody's Sidekick , battles Kenny, the match ended with Kenny's victory. Take nothing away from Page, he delivers a great performance, him and Omega fought a great bout.

Day 2.
The show starts with a 5 on 5 match, Team Kenny Vs. team Cody, Kenny's team wins.
But.. later the night we got something we waited for..
After Kazuchika Okada defended his IWGP Belt for the 12th time In a row after defeating Hiroshi Tanahashi, Okada delivers a promo and then Challenges Kenny Omega for a Rematch, Kenny Accepts, in case you guys forget, their last year contest ended with a time limit draw, so this time, Kenny and Okada added stipulations to the match, No Time Limit, two out of three falls! That's  what's going to happen in Dominion.

My Preview for dominion's match and prediction
1st off, Kenny has to beat Okada, he has to defeat him, after the trilogy ended with Kenny fails to get the belt, now it's the time to get Kenny Over Okada in a title match! Kenny beat him in the G1 already, but it wasn't for the belt, now it's for the belt, and I very hope that Kenny wins. He deserve to be the champ.
My prediction: Omega wins, New IWGP Heavyweight Champ! (Amen)

Thank you for reading, much love to all y'all. I hope you enjoyed.

Thank You all!
